One player on each team may opt to take 17 armor units instead of an
Ogre. Each team may decide independently whether to replace an Ogre with
armor units. The armor player’s force selection is restricted to the
following unit pool:
LTs and LGEVs count as one-half of an armor unit each, and SHVYs and MHWZs count as two armor units each. Players receive standard VPs (6 VP for a standard armor unit, 3 VP for a half, and 12 VP for a double) for the destruction of enemy armor units. Armor units may not ram buildings. An armor player is awarded full survival points if any of her armor units survive. A player’s armor units may combine fire against a target normally.
An armor player is never responsible for Ogres; if "teams of two" rules are in effect, the Ogre player maintains sole (but separate) control of both Ogres, even after her own Ogre is eliminated.
In the advanced scenario, Ogres retain their full complement of AP guns. Unit Type | Maximum Allowed |
HVY | 8 |
MSL | 8 |
GEV | 12 |
LT | 12 |
LGEV | 12 |
SHVY | 4 |
MHWZ | 4 |
